- Preferential access to HPC capacities (infrastructure, SW , know-how) via:
- Renting a specific HPC infrastructure
- Provision of HPC/HPDA/AI/Big Data expertise
- Provision of specific commercial/proprietary/open-source SW or services related to their deployment on HPC infrastructure
- Remark: HPC infrastructure comprises
- A universal part for standard numerical simulations
- An accelerated part for AI computations
- Servers dedicated to providing cloud services
- A part designated for large dataset processing
Testing for Digitised Manufacturing
- The development and deployment of new innovative procedures for performing verification and validation tests in the pre-development of the whole system or part of it via:
- Contracted applied research based on the equipment and knowledge of the academic environment
- Renting specific hardware and software equipment together with the support of research staff
- Testing, verification and evaluation of prototypes, products and SW
- Measurements experiments done in the company setting
Remark: Testing can be implemented on experimental industrial testbeds, including the Smart Factory lab, the AIM (Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing) lab, and the Automotive lab
