Digitalization that makes sense

We are the European Digital Innovation Hub Ostrava (EDIH Ostrava). We help small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-cap companies make smarter use of digital technologies. We are based in Ostrava, but our services are available throughout the Czech Republic.

Who we are

EDIH Ostrava is a place where companies can find everything they need to move forward with digitalization. We support clients throughout the entire digital transformation process – from initial guidance on digitalization opportunities, through expert consultations and technology testing, to market validation of their products.

Our services are provided on preferential terms, and in some cases free of charge, as they are co-funded by the European Union and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.

VSB – Technical University of Ostrava

The project is coordinated by VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, primarily through the IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center. IT4Innovations is a leading research, development, and innovation center in the fields of high-performance computing (HPC), high-performance data analytics (HPDA), artificial intelligence (AI), and quantum computing (QC), operating the most powerful supercomputing systems in the Czech Republic. | www.it4i.cz

A complementary technological specialization focuses on digitalized manufacturing processes incorporating Industry 4.0 elements and intelligent transport systems within an industrial testbed environment.
