Partner: Superior Steel, s. r. o.
Field: Mechanical engineering, construction technology
Superior Steel is a family business specialising in the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of stainless-steel swimming pools. Thanks to its many years of experience in custom metalworking, the company has successfully transitioned its business into the field of swimming pool technology.
The company is also intensively involved in digitalisation by developing a system for controlling pool amusement facilities, filtration, and water levels. All processes are automated and controlled via an application or sensors. The company views its own technological development as a crucial factor in maintaining competitiveness in the market.
Superior Steel’s cooperation with the Moravian-Silesian Innovation Centre (MSIC) started with the need to introduce a more efficient production planning and management system that would ensure greater process efficiency and smoother order flow. Through the DIGI Sken programme, the company established cooperation with expert Martin Chalupa, who, after conducting an initial analysis, helped optimise digital processes and created a process map. Based on this, he recommended implementing an order management and administration system, and, in cooperation with the company, created the necessary specifications.
“The owners clearly understood that digitization was essential for the company’s further growth, which made cooperation much easier. Together, we described the company’s key processes and prepared specifications for selecting an information system. We optimized and standardized the processes during the analysis to improve the flow of information, and the first steps of digitization began in the service department. Based on this, we chose Mwork 365,” said expert Martin Chalupa.
René Strnadel, Managing Director of Superior Steel, also considers participation in the programme to be useful. “Cooperation with MSIC was positive and beneficial, with a clear direction towards further development and improvement. It was based on regular communication, which enabled effective problem solving and project preparation. The experts we worked with demonstrated their expertise and were willing to share their knowledge and experience. MSIC proved to be a flexible partner, able to adapt to our needs and changes in the dynamics of our work, which is key for us.”
